Arsenal transfer news: Gunners scout Italy starlet Gianluca Mancini but must fight for his services
Arsenal are continuing to scout Atalanta defender Gianluca Mancini after his impressive start to the season.With Mattia Caldara leaving for AC Milan in the summer and Andrea Masiello picking up an injury, the 22-year-old has stepped up to the plate.1

He’s performed admirably in his eight Serie A appearances and scouts have taken note.Among them, according to CalcioMercato, have been representatives from Arsenal while Borussia Dortmund are also monitoring his progress.As well as impressing at the heart of defence, Mancini has also chipped in with three goals in as many games and his form has been instrumental in Atalanta’s rise to eighth in the table. The Gunners may have to make a decision quickly though with Inter Milan, who Mancini scored against at the weekend, also eyeing the player as they hunt for a young defender.
