Since Pep Guardiola arrived as manager, the forward has been one of the club’s best players and he proved his doubters wrong by scoring 18 goals in the Premier League title triumph last season.He has started again strongly, scoring seven goals and creating five in all competitions.Sterling, who joined City from Liverpool in a deal worth a potential 49million in 2015 and carried his exceptional league form into the World Cup with England in Russia.“I’m delighted to sign. My development here has been incredible,” he said.“I felt from the minute I got here it was the right choice for me.
