ESPN FC claim that the 27-year-old wants to further underline his commitment to the club by signing another new deal – surpassing the length of his current deal.Van Dijk is understood to have made that known to club officials prior to their 2-0 win against Tottenham in the Champions League final.Neither the club nor the players representatives appear in too much of a rush and are said to be relaxed about the whole process.
